Meeting stringent latency requirements in 5G fronthaul
Low latency is an essential requirement for an increasing number of applications, including 5G fronthaul, video/audio bridging, and industrial automation. And while legacy Ethernet technologies support CoS and traffic prioritization, they cannot provide the low-latency forwarding required. Luckily, ADVA’s innovation has arrived to provide a highly efficient solution.
To tackle the problem of latency and jitter at the edge of the network, we added express forwarding capabilities to our FSP 150-XG400 Series. Now we've further extended the application scope of our edge and aggregation devices by enhancing them with low-latency forwarding features.
